Sprinkler System Checks and Tune Ups

It’s important to have your sprinkler system checked on a regular basis. We advise two checkups a year, usually in the spring and fall, prior to planting seasons. For first-time homeowners, we can show you how to operate your new system during your first tune up.
A lawn sprinkler system tune-up by Andy’s Sprinkler includes:
- Inspection of every sprinkler head
- Cleaning clogged nozzles
- Adjusting heads for correct spray pattern
- Inspection of every zone on the system
- Looking for leaks or dry spots
- Finding any broken heads or bad valves
- Setting correct watering time on control unit

Drip Irrigation Systems
|

Drip irrigation operates just as the name suggests: water is distributed directly to the soil, drip by drip. Despite its fairly simple technology, drip irrigation accomplishes multiple objectives all at once:
 •It's a highly efficient way to moisten soil deep underground, directly to the roots of flowers, plants and bushes
•Drip irrigation conserves an incredible amount of water compared to traditional sprinklers, and is often exempt from water restrictions
•Proper installation can prevent foundation shifting and settlement issues by applying moisture precisely where your home needs it

Rain, Freeze and Wind Sensors
|

|
|
Sprinkler systems are intended to beautify your property, use water efficiently and stabilize soil to prevent foundation problems.
But the systems can’t do that if they’re not installed with climate sensors, something Andy’s Sprinkler does on all its work.
